I would urge caution...
if Jim's Alimentary Canal is anything to go by, this could create an environmental catastrophe of biblical proportions....

So boys, it's just us then for a fortnight.............. lets mess with Mr Garten's head by re-arranging the jigsaws and hiding the biscuit tin! before he returns! ho ho ho! |
Better still, let's rename the GR thread to "The Pallas Appreciation Thread" then he'll never find it.
Tee hee. |

...do you think that Leslie could be used to mix cocktails? The woofer unit might be useful for crushing ice.

I have a sneaky suspicion that Jim and Vicky would have booby trapped the place though. Either that, or made sure all the beer was hidden. All it needs is some bottled fart to be released upon entering their humble abode and we'll all be running the other way as fast as we possibly can.

For me PA has been operating a lot better, quick responses on page loads and much less SQL errors. The only issue for me now is the RSS feed appears to have died.

no, I'm still having awful trouble...to the point where it isn't worth bothing 'popping in' at the moment...in fact, I honestly don't know whether this will post (I've got a 1 in 3 or 4 chance of it doing so, but I can't be bothered to put it on Word and cut & paste at the mo)...

Seems to be a bit better todaty, but I'm never sure whether it's PA being slow or just the normal response time from our company internet connection.

enjoy your sea food, Lee...
On Sunday, I'm off to Shrewsbury, to have a look around the National Trust owned Town Walls Tower, after having been given an 'invite'.
Incidentally, Lee...if ever you're up that way, the small village of Bishops Castle has an utterly fantastic shop...1/3 2nd hand books, 1/3 Tea Rooms and 1/3 (arguably) the largest collection of 2nd hand classical CDs outside London...
...if the books and CDs don't empty your wallet, the Latte and homemade carrot cake will take your remaining change...

I'm on a prog marathon this weekend - Saturday off to the Latitude Festival in Stowmarket to see Sigor Ros and The Mars Volta then a quick burn up the A14 to Godmanchester for Marillion, Mostly Autumn and The Reasoning on Sunday at the Cambridge Rock (and Beer) fest.

The Whitstable excursion has been put back a day.
We are going on a National Trust excursion instead. This will include a visit to the National Trust's pub in Aylesbury,The King's Head.
Happy trails everyone
