Splendid news - don't make it the weekend of 9th though, as we're away at Cropredy...

Just sellotape your copy of The Sentinel over the hole. Wink

James the writing is so flimsy on that album, the rain would soak straight through

Anyway, a local roofing contractor came round on Saturday, spent a couple of hours sorting the problem & re-felting the roof properly & only charged us £60 cash in hand.

I can state that Fairport will be playing "Travelling by Steam" at Cropredy this year as there was a cameraman on our railway last week filming some footage for a backing video.  He wouldn't be drawn on any more revelations about the set list but if you happen to be there and see either Lord Nelson or Foremarke Hall in the video then that was filmed on my railway and if you see anyone pulling signal levers then it's me.  He filmed me in action in Winchcombe signal box.
When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

Aha - Neil and Lord Nelson in the video; they're pushing out the boat on the special guests this year...

I assumed Jim had an ale and curry night and cleared the whole place out.  Wink

I really think this piece of 'memorabilia' needs to be framed for posterity...living proof that there has been at least one occasion when James hasn't been logged in...LOL
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I had trouble logging in this morning, and there was a good amount of time (couple of hours?) around noon when I couldn't get on either.  Perhaps M@X is doing some more upgrades?

Someone must have moved the front door key to the Grey Room from underneath the flowerpot next to the front porch.I think the Suede Roomers (or whatever they are called nowadays) sussed out it's whereabouts.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Only one among us, who was pure of heart and mind, transcending the differences of Grey and (Pink) Suede, was allowed entry.  Wink
