Celestasi = Either Crossover or Heavy Prog

Circolo Culturale Federico Magnani = Jazz (if you want to get touchy, they could go in RPI due to some of the influences...  I say no to that, but what do you guys think?) Btw, they are unsigned according to their myspace, but it looked to me that they had released material somewhere...

Coral Caves = already approved

For the record, team old timers expect to be kept in the loop on any party-related debauchery of the younger set.  Living vicariously through othersBig%20smile.....helps to quell various mid-life crisis.

LOL you'll get all the info....more than you could possibly want to know, behind closed doorsWink

...and the young fellers of the team expect to be in the PA daily events loop.  If the prog-metalheads storm the arsenal, gain control of the SC zone, and take Peter Rideout hostage...I want to know about itBig%20smile

re. Celestasi - I don't hear enough trippy effects and things like that; I guess I usually need more "atmosphere" to consider something psych.  Celestasi have a grunge influence in places and alt-rock, the former being almost reciprocal to psych/space rock.  but I see where you're coming from, and I agree that they don't really fit under ONE given sub here (many bands are like that)

Daily activities?   It's all quite peaceful and harmonious.  Very zen-like, like-minded folks in capes discussing the progressive landscape.  No drama, really.

Linus:  I don't know where Akt ended up, I think they're probably still 'sitting' until we get them shuffled out.

Grazie,

I feel that if I write enough words, I can't help getting something right somewhere LOL

Trying to muster up the courage to do an Ys one after a couple of non-masterpiecey albums (and not write a review entirely about Tua Casa CommodaHeart)

I may just go Related on Celestasi.....almost the Italian Smashing Pumpkins with Lori Barbero or Meg White style on drums.  Crossover says "100% prog with pop influence" and they don't fit the first part.  Related definition says commerical with prog influence, and they do fit that fairly well.  Not enough space for space as Ryan noted.

I've been playing around with that thought myself. But I'm applying the Aegon rule. Better give them a chance with Xover team first.

I was just thinking that earlier - I went non-prog for Aegan and they were similar...I'll get back to this one. Wouldn't hurt to give them a try for xover, maybe Dean will hear something in it.
