tired of Tech/Extreme Prog choking up the site ?

adn bashing metal cause they cant cant their close minded heads out of the frikken seventies.

 

 

Rocktopus, if you reject all kinds of metal, and just stick in your own little avant garde world without even giving any modern bands a chance, wouldnt that epidomize being close minded? I mean we all have our personal tastes, but it's almost impossible to hate every single forms of music except one or two subgenres. I called some of you close minded, because I see some of the avant garde/zheul lovers raise their heads above everyone else and say "our tastes are better than yours! Metal is for weak minded fools".

 

You also say I have no patience, when I joined this site I was stuck in the seventies, and if someone were to send me a basket of dog crap labeled progressive, I probably would have eaten it, given how much I loved the music. Here you are though saying I have no patience, yet you dont have the patience, nor tolerance to look past some distorted guitars, or some harsh vocals, you would rather listen to a bunch of guys chant in a made uplanguage, to a made up religion (dont get me wrong, I was impressed with MDK). I'm trying to keep this as little insulting I can, but I can help but call out some hypocracy here.
