you should hear what I am listening to now...  if I was judging quality... I'd have this stuff off and listening to some  Bowie...  just for genre placement...  likes and dislikes ...quality...we try to look past

It's a toughie for me. There is an obvious easy-listening character to the CD, with all the ambience and electronics, but I don't know if I see an obvious "pop" character in it. And I still hear some Banco (especially vocal arrangements) and KC (some guitar parts) together with the extended, dreamier parts. The experimentation makes me want to head in more eclectic direction. But that's also because of it being a little hard to define.

Akt?  I'll have to hear it more and then I'll try to offer more about genre placement.

As I said initially: a little bit like Gazpacho's "Night", but with more variation.

Xover was my first thought...  but maybe Greg will hear something he will like and want as well...

OK. Based on that comparison, I'd say Crossover. Not much hooks, but it FEELS more crossover than eclectic.

Andrea,

Nice Alphataurus review!  I always like it when you (and the other Andrea) translate little bits of lyrics for we language-challenged Americans...LOL
Bravo!

Hi

Just here to say that Picchio dal Pozzo - Abbiamo Tutti i Suoi Problemi is rapidly becoming a favorite.

Hi Natural,
I have not heard that album, hope to some day.  Do you like it as much as the debut?

More so.  To elaborate, I'm really into Henry Cow lately and this album is very much in that mold.

I survived that jubilee. Nothing serious, only bruises.
