I took ECE classes in college as an electives.. part of my flirtation with going Engineer...  but dropped out a year before graduating to help my wife with her degree.. and after my career as a bartender landed me in AA.. I did the next best thing... working with stuff that can kill you quicker than quick... and never went back.  Damn good money.. I guess.. but the thing that sold me on the job was two fold.. hated the idea of being locked in a room or behind a desk.. you see something new. .and learn something new all the time.. and the job satifaction is off the charts. I remember one job I did.. reconnecting a live service during an ice storm.. got frozen to the roof.. particially electrocuted by a bad neutral from the power company.. .then found my only way off the icy roof was to slide down the roof... 2 stories off the house...  but I got the woman and her families power back on.

Now that was intriguing. Only proves you never know where you'll end up in this crazy thing called life.

MS - Master, right? If so, that's probably what I'm planning. But it's so distant now it's more of a hazy idea.

Understandable. It's probably more associated with death than war is.

Akt was the best of the last batch I think.  I hope they succeed in getting added by someone.  Nice stuff.
