There's no wind, where's that draft coming from?  It's a nice refreshing draft though, just what I require!

Jared, I'm fine indoors, it's outdoors I cannot bear.  The Grey Room is indoors, so don't force me to go out in the burning hot sun!

Terrific, Jared.  Would you mind drawing me a pint?  I'm awfully thirsty over here.

What's that, Jim and Vicky have tapped the keg, have they?  Angry

He could have said drought... then we could have sent him to get some water from the well 20 miles away down the cobblestoned pathway next to that huge haunted house and graveyard.

Then he'd have a Richard Chamberlain moment and suffer from sun blindness.

Don't worry, it was lost on me too.  I'm just using patio as a synonym for bald head, for some odd reason, don't mind me.

Is he the American equivalent of Richard Mellotron?

I would imagine that if I lead a good life and St. Peter's kind enough to let me through, I would see something like this on the other side of the gate.  Wink

No, it's not him I'm thinking of. LOL

Sir Ralph Richardson... that's who I'm thinking of.  He's not Richard Chamberlain, obviously and he was very English.

Check his 1939 film "The Four Feathers", where he ends up suffering from sunstroke (causing blindness), for my reference.

Yes, that's right, Richard Hammond was in "The Four Feathers" and "Greystoke" and many other films.  How did I forget that?

He was supposed to be in The Great Escape but failed the audition, 'cause he couldn't ride a motorcycle.

Ah, "The Thorn Birds".  It really is an excellent book, and I highly recommend the series on Ancient Rome by the same author, Colleen McCollough.
