2,000 posts! Well done, my friend ...and as you said, Rebus was the place to do it!
As for your latest puzzle, I will go with Songs For Ships And Irons by the Cardiacs.
I was having a real "blonde" moment ( apologies to any blondes out there ) with the four picture ... all I could see was a hand or a thumb
I will try to get a puzzle done very shortly

Before I do anything else, let me wish you, Coops, a belated but heartfelt HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! Nearing 50 and still going strong! Your puzzle wouldn't happen to be 5 Black Notes And 1 White Note, would it? Songs For Ships And Irons is correct, of course . Here's a song title (3 words):
|
"We've got to get in to get out"

Thanks for the Birthday greeting, Joerg. Nearly 50 ... less than one year to go now!
Robert Wyatt's Five Black Notes And One White Note it is!
I am figuring that your puzzle is Goldfish And Clowns by Fish, is it not
The next is a four-word album title...
...and just how easy is this one

Jörg,
thanx for helping us youngsters to pass 'cape 50' !!
In the meantime I have added the artist in question, but not yet the record... but while checking out the discography I realized that the record name was not exact, one word was missing, .......So here is the same record with one extra word and a new pic: record Two words (the old pic being the second word) If I have the time I add the record to the database today!

and over the top you need some help for this shamelessly easy rebus....
it's th name of an epic story about a guy, who kind of went out to buy some cigarettes and takes a long time out....the pic depicts one of the things that happened on his field trip.
