I did it...I admit it. I hacked PA.
Seriously though. The first night I come back on PA in quite awhile for an evening of drunken debauchery and the site is not working. You need to find these people and beat them with their computers.
|
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

It seems unlikely 44 reviews and ratings of the same DT album were lost CCVP. A database backup from about 12 hours previously was used.

But there is something strange going on man! Systematic Chaos grade was 3.60 and now is 3.54. Even if 10 people rated SC with 1 star, it is unlikely to its grade fall that much!

I don't pretend to understand the algorithm I'm afraid, but I think the submission of reviews of other albums can also affect an overall rating, as it is based on ratings and popularity.

Oh, and I notice that all of the Barry Manillow albums have been deleted from the site. |

You can relax. It isn't quite the catastrophe that you think it is.

well, this is not exactly some oblivious site on the internet where you can make random comments to whoever. I may be speaking for all who went though this, but it may take a wile until you can measure the power of your words in such civilized place. In a chaotic wasteland of trolls, people desperate for attention, people that just don't care, retards and evil people, this site is quite an oasis of tranquility, except when it comes to discussing about prog ( )

uhh . . .
I may have missed the joke but . . . Its not even in my nature to "Troll" or "Flame" on anybody.
But yes, until you get a bunch of Prog nerds together, we get elitest and think we matter in the
"Music Industry" (well we don't, only to the people who appreciate well composed musics).
so . . . " but it may take a wile until you can measure the power of your words in such civilized place".
. . . careful now, you may have to read what you write
Again, I'm a fan of probably every Sub-Genre of Progressive Rock, so its hard to get on a bad
side.
But I must say, the friendliest bastion of PrOggers has been on CENSORED.com (...I promised)
because just about everyone writes personal emails to each other, knows what people look
like, chat on a live chat board and have even met up to go to a concert or hang out, and have
donated CD's for everyone to listen to. More "human contact" make people more civilized and
Proggers should be in "it" all together in this Top 40 music world.
Things have gotten contentious about subjects, that happens in any "Community", but there is
always a reconsiliation and we go on as happy Proggers. You can see it at the Forum and
various posts/topics. Its not as vast as here, but we are as devoted as all these fine listeners
here in this community.
And . . .
What kind of person would I possibly be, as a RUSH fan, to say something AWFUL about the
passing of John Rutsey and post it at this well known Prog forum?
" well, this is not exactly some oblivious site on the internet where you can make random

Careful now . . . did you see my posts? get to know me, or anybody for that matter and yes, watch
what you say.
If I mis-interpeted your comment above I appologize humbly.
PrOg On all.
