Is it a noun?
I suggest "reverberative." Edited by Vompatti - April 02 2008 at 04:20 |

Ah, the old The Bottled Imp idea, as nicely told by Robert Louis Stevenson in the short story of the same name. An interesting concept indeed.
I don't think it has a name though, that concept, unless someone knows better. |

I don't think there is a word, but I would make up the word "polycratic" after the poem "Der Ring des Polykrates" by Friedrich Schiller. It tells the story of Polycrates of Samos who is so lucky that a guest tells him he should throw away his most valued possession so the Gods would not be angry with him. He takes a ring off his finger and throws it into the sea. The day after the cook brings him a fish, in the stomach of which he found the ring.

Just had a discussion about respect, but I really think either we should discard respect or hold it in high esteem, but currently everyone is demanding respect without showing respect for others (and that's outside my frame of thought, so I'm kinda dislocated about it). So the word can't be respect.
Love is a silly concept we all adore, so I would love that word to be the one.
Give, take and love.

thats good, quite deep. The reason i needed the word was for a lyric to push the story forward. |
