Hi Guys, this is my first post on this or any forum in fact. I'm the drummer of the Progressive Metal band Anthropomorphist, and im here to let you know we exist and we are eager for people to check us out because very very few people know about us.

We have been going for about 4 or 5 years and our musical styles and compositions have changed drastically, so we are definitely not newcomers. We believe our music is very approachable and contains elements of Jazz, Blues, Classical, Many forms of Metal and are all built around complex and melodic arrangements. I gotta say, we are very eager to have some fans, so take a look at these 2 sites we have set up to hear some samples and look at our biography. Feel free to share your opinions about us and we hope you'll enjoy our music.

Hmm, for some reason the unsigned.com link isn't working for me, but I was able to get to the page by typing in the URL.

For a two man band, you guys come up with some good material.  The mix of loud and soft is great, and makes the music very enjoyable and interesting to follow along.  Also, you both know how to play your instruments very well.  The recordings are a bit bright, and having a bassist could help out with that, but other than that I have no complaints.  Good work.

I am on the Progressive Metal Team here, and I will add your band to our teams voting chart, and we'll evaluate your band.

BTW....one of our team members has his own website, and our chart is there. You can check out the votes for your band here:

Hit the "metal" tab and your band will be listed under "new".We are currently only a 3 man team so two positive votes will get your band cleared for inclusion here.

I know you are unsigned, but we have many bands here in our 3 progressive metal sub-genres(particularly Experimental/Post Metal) whose material is self-released.

Hey! I've just heard your samples in Myspace. The music is very interesting and definitely progressive in my opinion. The sound is not good yet. The recording is too focused on the higher frecuencies but you do a lot with what you have. You really deserve a label to sign you and record an album with good sound soon!

Hey Guys, thanks a lot for the compliments, much appreciated. Thankfully, throughout our career our only criticism is the fact we don't have a bassist, and we have been searching for one for years, believe me we have, but in our remote island of Ireland, theres just not enough bassists or a lack of dedicated/good ones. Our Myspace page has undergone a MAJOR overhaul, and has seriously much better sound quality than before. Not only that, but instead of small samples of each song, every song bar our (30 second short of ) 20 minutes song is listen able in its entirety. Thanks again for the support.

Cheers,
Eamonn
