Has anyone else encountered this nifty little site?

Basically, you upload a few tracks, arrange them how you fancy and then spread it around for all to hear! In short, an instant online mix tape. Hooray!

Here's my first attempt, full of fiddly twiddly bits and loud, ugly squonkings (no surprise to those of you who know my taste in prog, I'm sure).

Have a listen, let me know what you think, and make one of your own!

Really nice site! I'll make an account later most likely, and upload some RIO goodies for all to hearWink

Surely I'm not the only person who thinks this is cool?

No, you're not the only one. Its a great idea. I'll do more or less the same as Bj-1 later myself.

Here's mine, so far.

Some tracks/files I could have chosen were to big, though (Max: 10mb). And with some files I wasn't allowed to edit/rename. I had fun making one, anyway. Hope the site's still working on its design and userfriendlyness. And it would be great to be able to make a few different ones.

Btw: It doesn't work with Mozilla.

Great stuff, rocktopus! I'd not heard the vast majority of those artists before and some of them are now high on my "to do" list! I might be making another muxtape soon, depending on how much I want to avoid doing my dissertation tomorrow.

Where's yours then, Bj-1? I've been looking forward to hearing it for days!

Thanks! You're mux was full of great stuff too, but the Bubblemath track (which was cool) was the only one I didn't already have.

Would be nice if one was allowed to make atleast three-four tapes, without having to remove the previous.

Uploading takes too long so I stopped, waste of time, even for listening, but the idea is nice, so why don't they do it any better i wonder.

Nothing's perfect from the start, tuxon. I also hope they work on improving the site, but can't you just start an upload and do something else while the machine works?

I'm working on one slowly, and the more I rearrange it and compare the tracks to one another, the less progressive rock remains... =P

cute site

edit: it's consistently having trouble with some of my mp3s even though they're all the same format, bitrate and so forth with no additional info and it can cope with unicode just fine, so I'm puzzled. I'll keep trying just so you can hear how bad my taste is.

Hmm, I may have a fiddle with this and see what I can come up with... the only problem is, I like long tracks!
