oh and battles has their moments ( tonto, atlas, race in)

3 excellent recommendations Clap

I added some videos of them in the band page. There's a whole concert with songs from their two albums. It's really fun to watch them playing live. Don't miss it!!

I'm crazy impressed with G?G!, I didnt know you werte aloud to do guitar solo's in the confines of math rock or post rock, but obviously they can.

Found a new band, black sheep wall, they are more of an extremely heavy sludgy doom band, rather than post metal, but they're hardcore influenced guitar sections are really cool.

Okay so I got my hands on the newest russian ircles album (dont ask me how) "station", and I have quite a bit to say about it.

I feel that it dosent have the crazy energy Enter, but at the same time, there is a more emotional post rocky feel to it that didnt exist in the last album. THe climaxes do not last long, and they move at a much slower tempo, and with less of a metalish rage, bt with a very Jakob-ish feeling. The song versus is probably my favirote, you'll see why when you get it.

hey anyone listened to the MARE EP? ive had it for a pretty long time and i just realized that they are not on the archives. i know they disbanded but is that the reason they aren't here?
Anywho, great CD, a regular avant garde sludgefest that  i would give a solid 4.5 stars to if they were on the site. closest band i can think of that sounds anything like them is Kayo Dot which is an incredibly good thing. thoughts?

Last weekend I listenened to the new Daturah album (Reverie). Anyone else heard it? I really like it ... stylistically it's relatively "old school" noisy/heavy post rock, but very well implemented!
