Wouldn't I need to know something about the art of poem writing to write a book like that?

Don't you think that it might be to your advantage to not know anything about the art of poem writing, since as you are learning this art you can be creating poems along the way about what you have been learning?

But would the knowledge of the art of poem writing limit my artistic freedom and make my poems too commercial?

Is that the answer that I should expect, only on a progressive music site?

Can you explain how poetry can't be both good and commercial thus satisfying both the spiritual and financial requirements of the poet?

Wouldn't that require lots of people with good taste?

Couldn't just one well-placed individual, say with her own book of the month club, influence lots of people into acquiring the good poetry and thus making it also commercial, if such person were properly persuaded to understand that the poetry is in fact good and should be shared with the masses?

Outside of coffeeshops and literature class, does anyone really read poetry anymore?
