Topic: Tagging WAV files (for free)... Posted: March 22 2008 at 19:32 |
So I've got an ok program for tagging files, and to tell you the truth I am a complete n00b at it (even though it's a simple concept), but my program doesn't do anything but mp3's. Does anyone know of a free tagging program that works well?

If you right-click on the wav file and select properties, you should be able to tag it without using a program.
I think. |

I don't know why mine wouldn't work that way, but it doesn't...

Well I can get to that screen but all of the possible tags (artist, title, etc) are all blocked and I can't edit them there.

You should be able to tag your tracks in Windows Media Player.
Adding or editing media information manuallyIf you have items in your library that have missing or incorrect media information—perhaps because you didn't fix the information before you ripped the tracks from the CD or because you used another CD ripping program to rip your CDs—there are several methods that you can use to correct the media information. To add media information using the Edit command
If you don't mind entering all the information manually, you can bypass the online database and fix the information directly in the library by using the Edit command. |
