The Giants D is monster.  All the D-line needs is a catchy nickname and they'll go down as one of the greatest D-line groups in history, alongside the Steel Curtain and the NY Sack Exchange.

I hate to say it but the Patriots really needed John Kitna as their quarterback today.  Kitna is really use to picking himself up off the turf.  Brady didn't seem to know what to do with defensive linemen breathing down his throat.  I am not sure if he has ever had that happen to him before.  Definitely my congratulations go out to the New York Giants and their fans.  I was pretty sure that the Giants would easily beat the spread but until that last Brady incompletion I really figured that the Patriots would do what they do best and win at the end.  Good game.  Great finish.

That ONE play where Eli escaped like 4 Patriots and still made the completion that David Tyree jumped UP to catch.....was the most amazing thing I've seen.

And Rileydog I thinkj we should bring back the giants nickname from their 1980's days
The Big Blue Wrecking Crew

And Riley what did you think of that one Bradshaw run. He stumbled, got up on 1 arm and a DEFENSIVE TACKLE had him locked around the neck, and he kept dragging him. The guy is 198 lbs

It could work, but a lot of people (myself included) already use that nickname to describe the team as a whole.  The D-line themselves need a nickname, like the Crunch Bunch did.

I know...Strahan, Umenyora, Tuck, Cofield, and my fellow Penn Stater Jay Alford.
The d-line is just not right.
And BTW Jay Alford I busted on you alot for messing up all those snaps..I take it back man. That sack on Brady at the end was beautiful.

Man.........can you believe this????
I still can't myself. The Giants straight up   outplayed the Patriots.

That defense, the new Eli, a 1-2 run attack   (Bradshaw is a BEAST)
*sniff*  I smell success  in the future

I'm still in shock about getting 5 straight awesome performances out of Eli.  Circa week 12, I was talking about needing a new QB.  I'm not feeling that way anymore.

I've stuck by him. I have been VERY frustrated...but stuck by him. I was just hoping he would "turn that corner" And what about Tom Coughlin??  I wanted his head on a plate after week 2. LOLLOLLOLLOL

In the offseason, I couldn't believe that they rehired Coughlin; he didn't seem to have any respect from the players, and you can't win that way.  But somehow he's turned it around and now he's holding a Lombardi Trophy.

With a new Coughlin, a new Eli, and a new secondary, I'm feeling really good about next year.

<Big Sigh> Oh well, the Giants played well and they defeated the Pats... Cry

True congrats to the Giants fans only, not to anyone else who roots for any other team but wanted to see the Pats lose.

It wouldn't have hurt that much if the Pats had lost one f`******g game in the whole season

< Another big sigh > anyway... I'm quiting the e-mail notification for this thread Cry Congrats Giants fans!

I'm sorry....but f*ck tom brady f*ck randy moss, f*ck bill bellichek  f*ck wes welker
F*CK YOU Tiki Barber

Correct me if I'm wrong, but everyone basically slated the Pats as the greatest team ever, so dosn't that make the Giants the best ever? Smile The defense was amazing, and Eli stepped up BIG

C'mon. I know you're happy and a lot of people are glad to see the Patriots lose (any Dolphins fans out there?), but was this tirade necessary? I'm not a huge Bellichek or Moss fan, but this was over the line.

Enjoy the win, but please save this for you and your buddies.

No team is immune from overconfidence and the Pats proved that against the Giants.  I guess it's true that "you can't win 'em all."  Let's start the whole process over next August.

I don't know if it was over confidence. That defense hit Brady so many times that I think it threw him off. I don't care who you are, but if you get smacked that many times, then it's going to go through your head every time you drop back. The Patriots didn't  have a running game, so that meant the Giants could really go after Brady.

The look on the Pats faces as the clock ticked down was priceless, especially Brady(sorry Pats fans).

It seems like Plaxico's prediction during media week wasn't so far off the mark after all.

Yea he got a lot of flak for that. Especially for saying they'd hold the Pats to 17. Guess he deserved the criticism, since they held them only 14. LOL
Now that the excitement is slowly wearing off I don't know how I can wait until next year...
