Earlier this week, the Admin team and M@X agreed to open a page for our beloved site on MySpace.
Reason for this is that it provides an additional means to attract attention from prog lovers who surf MySpace to discover new progressive rock acts, and to have a means to connect directly (as MySpace friends) to old and new bands lurking on MySpace. In short: it's all about promoting the site. In principle, all are welcome to befriending ProgArchives.com on MySpace, especially if they put up a banner and link to MySpace on their own pages. Friend requests will be monitored by the admin team. Our MySpace URL is as obvious as can be: http://www.myspace.com/progarchives For questions or remarks related to this, you can contact me, or any other member of the admin team. Hoorah!!
Didn't now Prog Archives is Gemini. I'll join, got my myspace account and even had a banner of ProgArchives since creating the account. The only thing,I'll be a mere peapsqueak to the bunch of artists who'll join, somewhere down the bottom of the entire friends list. |

You may want to throw in a link to my (extremely unsuccessful) PA group.
http://groups.myspace.com/progrockrullz And add STC to your top friends. |

Angelo, given time, I will dig out as many Myspace addresses as possible for our growing list of festivals...then we can start to cross-polinate....

I've added the logo and also added links. I've also just sent a friends request, so don't forget to click yes.

Well - assuming you know how to edit your MySpace in the profile editor (you set it up didn't you): 1. Open your profile editor, and go to the bottom of your "About me" editor 2. Open the MySpace page of ProgArchives in another tab or window 3. Copy the text in the white box below the banner there (at the bottom of PA's About me) 4. Paste the text at the end of your About Me in the profile editor 5. Click "Save all change" and you should be ready to roll.... |
