Greetings earthlings!
As I write this Mr H is adding a vocal to a song called 'Grin and Bear It' so I've got a few minute spare to say "Hi!" We have been locked in the Racket Club since the beginning of the year cracking on with the new album. At the risk of being called a liar sometime in the future I can tell you that 'Volume 1' is taking shape as a "theme". It could even turn out to be one continuous piece a la 'Brave'. We noticed that many of the songs we were working on seemed to be related and that got us started on this particular journey. 'Volume 2' of the new album will consist of all the songs that don't fit in with the theme (as we have quite a few that don't). I've written and recorded a piano piece at home that I'm hoping will make it onto 'Volume 2'. Pete has also written a song at home - music and lyrics - so as you can see this album will cover a lot of ground across the 2 CDs and hopefully you'll enjoy the journey! Without giving too much away I can tell you we are very excited about how it's all going and we should even have a title for the album in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for sound clips on the website in the coming months, too. Take care. Mark |

So they are working on another one.
Haven't given this band too much of a listen, but coming out with so many albums now is highly respectable. |

I don't have a really good feeling. It will be Marillion's first double CD album, and there will be some leftovers from Somewhere Else. Maybe good leftovers, but who knows? I think it will have more of a prog content, but will the creative ideas be there?

^Well, judgeing by recent form, creativity isnt something that Marillion have been lacking in.

I think the meat of the double CD set will be the conceptual material on disc 1. I'm (more or less) viewing the second disc as a bonus with extra material.
And, from Stone's comments, I take it that he still doesn't have the 2 disc set of Marbles. So, technically this will be their 2nd double disc. And the first, as most of us know, was quite the masterpiece. E |

Being that your birthday has recently passed, I guess it's too late for you to add it, eh? Double disc version shouldn't be missed, though. E |

The song "Real Tears For Sale", which will be on the next album. Audio is pretty muffled, but it sounds pretty awesome. "Real Tears" will be included on the next live FRC release. I should be getting that in a couple of weeks, so I'll have a better grasp. From what I've been hearing from those who have seen them on the Snow-where Else tour, it's getting praises from everyone.
