CZUKAY, HOLGER - Canaxis
I saw this album for a good price online and after reading Chris (usual) very good and informative review, I decided to go for it.
In addition, I was wondering what others think of this release and also to have your opinion on other of Czukay's material.

Thanks in advance

I like one-half of this album (one of the two LP side-long pieces; I have an earlier CD release without the bonus tracks). It's not like Can or his later albums. Loops, drones and shortwave radio sounds. Unusual for the late 60's.  Later albums have guitar, drums, etc., which compare favorably to mid-period Can (when they did their own singing; no Mooney or Suzuki).  Czukay's more recent albums don't do much for me.

It's a very experimental release. Not for little players.
