From Phoenix AZ. Another difficult to categorize band.

From the CDBABY site

If creation is first of all an act of destruction, then Daughters of Fission certainly creates music and destroys any preconceived notions of music that you might have.

Daughters of Fission is: Jason Prichard (vocals/drums), John Banks (guitar), Christopher Coons (bass), and Stephanie Dilk (keyboards).

Recorded at Mind's Eye Digital with engineer extraordinaire Larry Elyea, Abandonatomy may be one of the most innovative albums you'll hear.

Thanks Comfotably Numb for this also great unsigned band (although it's from a while ago).  They have cool music, reminds me of how Redemption sounds, but more inventive (I didn't care much for the album I have of Redemption, but that is off topic).  Some nice guitar playing, great drums, and it's music that's never cheesy.  I also really like their little experimental bits, usually used to intro a song.

These guys have released an album(s) without a label, so I'll give them to Angelo to put them in the Suggest New Bands section.  They should be sent to the Prog Metal Team for sure.

Glad you like them.  Looks like they'll have a new release this year, 2 new songs posted on their myspace page.  Not sure if it's an EP or full length though.
