The Musicians Linking game

Right, we all know many musicians are linked to the most unlikeliest of bands and musicians, whether directly, or indirectly, so here is a game that may be interesting.

I shall start it off by asking you all to find a link between the following:

Patrick Moraz and Micky Moody.

There is likely to be many answers, so it will be interesting to see if someone comes up with the same one as I have.  Also, links do not have to be direct, so for instance, neither of the musicians have to have played together, but they must somehow be linked.

Once someone has found a link, they can then give us their own link to solve.

Well the first one is closest.  You're on the right lines with Refugee and Jackson Heights, but it needs some filler...

I've no idea who Colin Gibson is, but that answer is sufficient for the purposes and so you can now have a go yourself.

And my answers are not that obtuse, Dean!

Here is what I had:

Patrick Moraz was in Yes.

Before Yes, he was in Refugee

Also in Refugee were Lee Jackson and Brian Davison

Jackson and Davison were former members of The Nice, but Jackson also formed a band named Jackson Heights

Jackson Heights were on the Charisma Label, along with Van der Graaf Generator

Keith Ellis of VdGG was a former member of Juicy Lucy

Micky Moody was a former member of Juicy Lucy.

Also:

Davy O'List of The Nice, was a member of a fledgling Roxy Music

Phil Manzanera, of Roxy Music formed Quiet Sun with Charles Hayward and others

Hayward was later to join Massacre, alongside Fred Frith

Fred Frith was a member of Henry Cow who did an album with Slapp Happy

Peter Blegvad was a member of Slapp Happy and the drummer on one of his solo albums was Guy Evans of VdGG (as well as Manny Elias and Stuart Gordon, who have both worked with Peter Hammill)

VdGG were on the Charisma label with Jackson Heights, who were formed by Lee Jackson, formerly of The Nice

Jackson and Brian Davison formed Refugee, along with Patrick Moraz, before he went on to replace Rick Wakeman in Yes for the Relayer album.

Potter played with Evans in VDGG, Evans played with Anderson in Amon Duul, and Anderson and Swindells were both members of Hawkwind.  

Jawa - i.e. Nic Potter and Huw Lloyd-Langton backed Swindells on his solo album Shot Down in the Night.

BTW, Scherpenzeel and Rainbow also played together on Camel's "Stationary traveller".
