Review of "What You See Is What You Are" by "Here and Now"

http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=92675

Hey it's fine if burgersoft777 likes to get his kicks by sl*gging off "Here and Now"'s Kif Kif at every opportunity, but that (according to burgersoft777) "badly delivered vocal" on "What You See Is What You Are" is actually sung by Keith the Bass.
Can we put the record straight somehow, please?

Is it really...does that improve the song...Just to put the record straight I was and still am a very big fan of here & Now...but that doesn't extend to putting up with very poor vocalisation and lyrics. I saw here & now  over 30 times in their hay day...but they were always at their best when they just played their instruments. Live the vocals were delivered by Kif Kif predominantly in a kind of half shouted manner..the girls delivered very little other than background. As it is Here & Now became a far more professional unit once Kif Kif left.
The whole point of reviews is to give an honest account of the music as you see it. You may like Give and Take..In which case you have the right to review it and wax lyrical about how great you think the singing is if that is your opinion. I believe that Here and Now were very much let down by poor vocals without exception..Kif Kif and the so called missile bass being equally poor at singing.  The simple fact is reviewing is about opinions the fact that my review has irritated you isn't my problem. Fact if more people liked this band there would be many more reviews.  Should a person wish to buy this recording then they have the right to be warned in advance about the low quality of the Vocals and much of the writing that was the hallmark of this enjoyable but hardly professional festival band. Kif Kif is a very nice guy but that is not the same as being a very great Musician. Listening to Here & Now  studio output it is clear that the sum of the parts worked far better in a live concert than in the studio.

By the way I did report the review error at the time but nothing happened...the review was intended for the 1977 lp...other than that I stick with what I say in realtion only to the 1977 recording.
