Joerg, Patch is correct indeed Clap

And your puzzle would be Songs From The Lighthouse by Moongarden, I think.

No time for a new puzzle right now so feel free to do one.

All the best for 2008 one and all! Thumbs%20Up

Coops,it's a little thought around two corners, (must be the effect of too much alcohol during the Christmas time.....Tongue)

two words who only differ by one letter and describe the system of transformings sofas into beds it's kind of the phonetique transcription of the noise produced when de-folding the sofas. Does that help? the words are english and the terms are used too in French.

Don't those fold away beds make snapping sounds? Like when you snap a small branch or twig.

Perhaps. I would have thought more of a "springing" sound, rather than a "snapping" sound ... but I couldn't come up with anything at all LOL Let's see what Martin has to say!

OK guys, maybe I am completely off the track, east of the moon and west of the sun...
also I really like Jrg's proposal the official answer is Click Clack by Captain Beefheart
in France they actually  call these bed/sofas this way and I thought in Englishspeaking countries too,...BTW in the Beefheart song it refers to the noise produced by the rails if my memory is good...
my next one will be easier...promisedWink

PS Joerg's is Worrywart Spoonguy by Mike Keneally

PS 2 Guy Fawkes makes me think of a great film I saw recently V for Vendetta

new one one word

Worrywart Spoonguy is spot on Clap

Although you didn't clarify what it is you are looking for, I guess it's Porcupine Tree's Deadwing. Approve

Here is another song (3 words):

Well, I Googled "click clack" & sofa and got a few hits (even some Australian sites), so I will put the Click Clack Sofa down as one of the things I have learnt today! (You have to learn something every day.)

Joerg, yours would appear to be Strike (or StrikingYour Heel, but I cannot find a song with that title in PA. Am I on the mark Question

"Strike Your Heel" is spot on, Coops Clap! It's from the album "Sins" by Irreversible.

For your's I'll say "Head In The Sand" by Nessie.

A band name:

"We've got to get in to get out"
