lately I'm really diggin' Vincent Crane's hammond explosion in Gershatzer (Atomic Rooster)....the drum solo kicks some serious ass too.

All of the Above - Transatlantic (Roine's last Frippy Hacketty guitar solo)
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
All of the Above - Neal's first keyboard solo
Exiles - King Crimson - Sympathetic solo from Fripp at the end
A Smart Kid - Porcupine Tree (emotional guitar solo at the end, amazing)

he does solo, true, but i've always considered him more of an instrumentation/orchestration kind of musician..

well if i went with a Rothery solo, i'd go with either This Strange Engine or Sugar Mice but yours is ok too...
