Id take it right back to square one.
I listen to what I like, and couldnt give a rats what other people listen to. People can say what they want about the music I listen to, but at the end of the day Ill always have my CD collection and them theirs... I wouldnt be arrogant enough to tell someone else what they should be listening to or whats 'wrong' with the music they like. |

I have to say I agree with most everything. I gathered pretty quickly the "elitist" feeling youre referring to. Im going to read some of the comments now, because I expect you to be totally shredded now. |

There is the classical music fancier, but then there's the classical music fanatic. I fancy classical music a lot, but am not fanatical about it. |

me either I love classical but not fanatic.. then again.... I wouldn't even say I'm fanatical about prog either... I love it... but just as happy sitting back digging a Willie Nelson album, or Marvin Gaye...which I am as I type for what it's worth. |

Me too, heck, I enjoy Abba. Now, following your lead, I'm going to put on some Simon & Garfunkle followed by some P-Funk with a little Tallis thrown in for good measure. |

Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Marvin Gaye are all terrific artists. Next on my list is Tom Waites. And quote pyramids are good, but pyramids of dung are better. [ |

Well, it's lucky that you aren't exclusive to classical music, then, isn't it? |
