Check this Argentinian band, FANTASÍA CROMÁTICA: heavily influenced by Weather Report, Brand-X, Tribal tech, with a slightly augment Latin tone and also some prog elements - three amazing tracks at their Myspace blog http://www.myspace.com/fantasiacromatica Pure prog-fusion from Argentina, full of energy, beauty and controlled complexity. The JR/F team seems to have dissolved... I mentioned the band twice so far, but got no response. If no one answers within the next couple of days, I may decide to add them myself.
