Thankfully I don't but I remember my Grandfather had it. My Mom would always say how he had this ringing and it literally was driving him crazy.

40 ton anhydrous ammonia refrigeration compressors have caused the vast majority of my tinnitus, much more so than any music has. It is only really noticable when I am in the mountains and its totally quiet. Then it drives me insane. Otherwise my everyday hearing is fine.

LOOL, I've always thought that this word is Finnish... it ends with "tus" just rightly and te verb is "tinnittää"..
