Well, being this a "personal" gallery, this is the poster I've just donated for a Rural women organization.

The workshop was all about improve their work conditions and a lot of things... meanwhile, the organization didn't included my email address (they asked me to put it in the first place) and used the desing for every graphic piece, copybooks, banners, etc. I'm not mad about it, but they totally ruined the desing with the applications, never asked me how to use it properly, never told me the size of the canvas, I received the real text and contents one day before the deadline... I'm not a saint, but at least I need to be sure that my work is going to be used properly. Instead, well, nevermind. The poster as such never saw the light, the full desing was only featured in those hand copybooks in a really smaller size...

They never sent the logos of the involved organizations also. Instead, they just added then as can be seen on the lower left edge ...
That's a really cool poster! Thumbs%20Up

If you ever wouldn't know what to do, you can always make one for my drama club Big%20smile
Really, I like your work!

You should've seen our last poster, it was made with paint, by a colourblind person who had never used paint before Dead

I can certainly use the chance to wake up... lately, work is everything but creative. So... if it is not a "for yesterday" thing, let's talk about it.

SmileThanks, Marko, but Canada's thanksgiving day is long past.

(We celebrate it on the second Monday in October -- this year it fell on Oct. 8th.)

Hope you had a good one!Smile

No, both the bird and the country are spelled the same in English: TURKEY
(The country with a capital T, of course.)Geek

A peacock is an entirely different bird.

Languages are tricky... we spanish speakers know the "turkey" as "pavo", and the peacock as "pavo real" (that would be like a "royal turkey". Meanwhile, Turkey for us is "Turquía", while the turkey remains "pavo", as wrotte above. Uhm... spanish speakers could be understood as sound PC hardware from spain...

Edit: errmmm... and a very uneducated tourist might end up eating a Turkish person to celebrate a local tradition while visiting the north...

LOL... in Portuguese the turkey/pavo is peru, the same name of Iván's country (but the nation is spelled with P). Probably, the first perus entered Brazil coming from Peru and so... Geek

The peacock is simply pavão.
