from the list, tomato,but my favourite soup is probably baked potato soup with bacon and cheddar cheese.

Soup with Chicken,Yam,ocumo,potato,carrot,onions,coriander,chili,garlic,corn,yuca,rice
or the same but with fish,shellfish and moluscs
or soup of red beans

haven't tried too many soups besides basic stuff (VERY typical american), but these three are a trio of masterliness:

1. New England clam chowdaa
2. Lobster bisque
3. French onion soup, esp. with cheese
