I just thought of a fun game to play....

I just drummed to a song, and recorded it. Here's one little section of the song. See if you can guess what song it is.

(If the person who guesses the song correctly is a drummer, go ahead and make your own recording. If not, I'll make another. Sound like fun?)

P.S. Sorry for the sloppiness, it's kind of a tough song. Embarrassed

That's exactly what it is. Nice!

Anyone who drums can feel free to make a recording. I'll make another later.

I don't have recording equipment at home, but I do have at my job so I could record some drum tracks to a few songs there sometime.

He used to own this computer, so that's the default. Well, Glen is my middle name, so I guess that could be my drummer alias.

Song #4:

http://www.mediafire.com/?8mssmrqyxyy

(I think the lack of the double bass pedal is an issue here again...maybe not so much as song #2, though)

Song #5:

http://www.mediafire.com/?a0f2a13nzms

(This song is sort of a jam, so a lot of what I'm doing (besides the opening and the end) is improvised. The first few seconds and the last few seconds (and maybe familiar bits here and there) are really the clues. This is a hard one, I think.)

Ah, Sing Little Birdie?Ermm

Something by Menudo? Clap

Confused

Seriously, i tried guessing # 2, but it would have to be a really distinct beat (or a very distinct drummer, like Bruford) for me to identify a song just from the drumming.
Sorry.Embarrassed

Carry on shaking your spear (or is that pounding yer skin?), though, Bardo! Wink

(But don't let mom & dad catch you at it in the middle of the night!)

Wink!

Pinch

Your elaborate replies never cease to please me. Approve

Here's a hint: #2 is by an extremely popular band in the "Heavy Prog" category.
