The last one.
You know, when I added it by mistake 3 times, the two times it was added first, it was with the GIF image, and it was in those times that the system told me the addition failed, but it didn't and the image was actually a gif, when it's supposed to be jpg.
Thanks

Ayers Rock - Beyond ... a photo of my LP!
Anyone know how I get my Photobucket images to appear in general Google image searches I have heaps of cover pics of often obscure works that could do with a picture or two on the internet.

No problems, Eugene
A couple more...
Mandalaband self-titled...
...and what I believe to be the correct cover picture for The Eye Of Wendor...
This is the cover pic from my original LP and my CD copy of the album!
...and it's another "give away"

Both are updated. Thanks, Coops!
I saved the old cover of The Eye Of Wendor on my PC... for all the troubles... in case it was an original one...

Question:
Is the PA machine changing the format of non-square cover images to square format? I ask this because when I add an album (or change it's cover) with a non-square cover, I let the short side be 200 pixels, instead of the long side. If the server forces the aspect ratio into square format, that means the image I add gets distorted, so in this case I should put the long side at 200 pixels in order not to have the image deformed. |

Andu -- personally, I'm not answering because I know nothing about it. Even worse -- I have no idea whom to ask...

Hey, Eugene.
But: did you understand the question? I've had a difficult time phrasing it; the more I explained the more ambiguous it seemed to get. Edited by andu - November 02 2007 at 19:08 |

Your last question may be easily interpreted as an insulting one and is out of place, in my opinion.
I never dealt with non-square images.

Sorry, fixed that.
I think it's a question for M@x or Graphix... |

Ah... I saw your edit, no problem at all. I think you were quite clear in your initial question. Yes, this might be for M@x, Graphix, or anyone else who had an experience with such images. |

non-square covers are not changed to square, andu. the cover picture on the album page is shown as it is uploaded. The same image is presented on the artist page but changed proportional to a width of 100 pixels ... Edited by Rivertree - November 03 2007 at 16:57 |

Thanks! I had the impression that a cover I uploaded was forced into square, it must have been an illusion.

This one: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=16940
It should be 200x219 pixels, but it looks square. I upload it again: Edited by andu - November 03 2007 at 18:33 |

The images are exactly 200 x 200 and 100 x 100.
If you still have the uploaded original on your computer you can compare it. My experiences are exactly as a described before ... - Sorry I didn't recognize your edit ... Edited by Rivertree - November 03 2007 at 18:40 |
