This is mostly copy/paste from a PM I sent earlier:

I'm listening to my Traffic "On the Road" LP and I thought I'd look it up on PA to see what people thought of it. I noticed that the tracklisting and song(s) lengths were different:

My LP : I bought it in Texas, so I guess it might be the North American/ American release...

1973 Island Records, (0598) SMAS-9336
Tracklisting:
Side One, Low Spark of High Heeled Boys (15:10), Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory (6:47)

Side Two (Sometimes I Feel So) Uninspired (10:20), Light Up or Leave Me Alone (10:45)

It also says "Recorded live on tour in Germany." on the backside, if that is any help.

Does anybody know any more info on this?

Mine, which is the European edition, has the following tracklist:

1 Glad/Freedom Riderv(21.00)
2. Tragic Magic (8.41)
3. Sometimes I Feel So Uninspired (10.35)
4. Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory (7.04)
5. Light Up or Leave Me Alone (10.49)
6 Low Spark of  High-Heeled Boys (17.53)

There is no indication of where it was recorded, though.

I checked the album entry and found that it was me who made a last update...

We'll need to check which release is the original one, and then to list both of them in order.

Thanks, Josh!

Raffaella, the track list in the PA entry is identical to that of your album: http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=7048

Hmmh - it was me who opened the bottle  Big%20smile  at a time with no access to the admin pages ...

I captured the tracklisting from my personal CD.
Maybe there are different releases ...

The existing entry states currently two releases:
LP Island Records Ltd. ISLD-2 (1973)
CD Island 7900282 (1988)

Is it possible that a CD release was expanded from four to six tracks?

Or was it an American release that got truncated?

Confused

Here's the answer to your question:

http://wc02.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:0bfixqy5ldje

The American album only included four tracks out of six.
