Is sad that our beloved Progressive Rock is lost beyond boring ones like Dream Theater, Opeth,  and other " Prog Metal" ( hahahahaha) groups.  Let me know, ppl, your opinion.  Ok.. I know you Dream Theater fans will give me a head shot, hehehe.  I think those bands are more into hair, muscles and 999,999,999 notes a second than good music.  Wink

And MSU beats the hell out of the other OSU.

Threads bashing prog metal have become quite boring as well.

It's all a matter of taste. You may have you own reasons not to like it, but I like Prog Metal. Dream Theater is very virtuosic, we know that, as are many prog acts. Maybe you can't stand the heaviness or you see it as cold music which does not move you at all.

I know two guys who used to play american football. One of them quit because it wrecked his fingers, so that he couldn't play guitar properly.

The subject is a subject that has been talked to death.  Please see the following thread which very recently made the rounds.  It is one of many.  The discussion was similar but with a more positive tone rather than the critical tone of your post.

I am hoping that Michigan can work their way back into the top 10 this year.  Probably won't happen because of their first two crushing losses, but they have been playing much better since then.  Big game tonight against the young upstarts from Illinois.

Also hoping that the Indians can finish off the Red Sox tonight.

Dont want this thread.

All it does is create divisions. There have been many, many threads over the years on this subject, try doing a search.

Case closed.
