I am so FU*KING pissed.
I went out to a movie to find my account had a balance of -$32  which was......well alot lower than it should be. Freaking out I got hacked or something, I check my account online to see all thesepurchases I never made.
Eventually we figured out, the bank put my Dad's new card on MY account.
I'm glad its not fradulent  but the f*cking bank cost me $1500, (and my whole account)

When I want to watch a DVD, why the f do I have to sit through 5 twing minutes of warnings telling me I'm a naughty ing boy and that piracy is stealing    . If I had pirated the fing thing I wouldn't have to sit through this bull. Then there comes the "please don't sue us" warning in case some 3rd assistant tea boy says something dodgy on one of the commentaries. By the time I've sat through all this I'm too annoyed to watch the ing thing

"Why say it cannot be done.....they'd be better doing pop songs?"

So James, you are distantly related to the Churchills (Nicholas Soames marrying Winston's Daughter) and
one branch of the family marrying into another branch does sound like you have aristocratic blood in your veins.

I think you may be a generation out Lee, Nicholas Soames' dad married Winnie's daughter.

James, how can you be related to his daughter but not to him? Is this one of those "I am my mothers son's brother's sister's brother" riddles?
What?

I MIGHT be distantly related through (Arthur) Nicholas Winston Soames' second wife Serena Mary Smith.  They had a daughter Isabella Soames together.

That means I'm not related to the Soames' (well, only Isabella) or the Spencer-Churchills!

Besides, it's not a direct line yet, but I believe there is one.  Isabella Soames, Tara Plonker-Plonkingson, James Fitzroy, Earl of Euston (and his son, Henry, Viscount Ispwich) and James Grimston, Viscount Grimston are all direct descendants of Lindsay Eric Smith and Helen Mary Collyer.

It's the Collyer family of Chobham, that I'm linked to, via the Fladgate family (who married into the Yeowell family).

When I do find a link, it'll be maybe 6th or more cousins anyhow, so I have nothing to worry about!

On my mother's side, it's much better, I'm distantly related (4th Cousin 3 Times Removed) to Prof. Sir D'Arcy Wentworth Thompson, D.Litt., D.Sc., D.C.L., C.B., F.R.S., F.R.S.E., H.F.E.M.S. LOL

Yep.  We're working class, with more middle class values.

So we're scum of the earth, basically.

Todays rant:

Vauxhall!

I've had to take my Meurglys into the garage to get a valve replaced, as the rear right brake is leaking fluid... I took it in Friday... anyhow, it was supposed to be ready today, but the garage 'phoned up and said they've been having trouble getting a valve and that Vauxhall no longer sell single valves, so you have buy them in pairs and they've changed the design.  A single valve normally is around £30... a pair is £130+.  Even the garage were surprised!  Vauxhall didn't have any either!  They've found a pair of them in Northampton, so I'll get the car back tomorrow...

What seemed a simple job has now escalated into something else... why do car manufacturers have to design a modification to an existing part that seems to be fine in the first place?

ARGH!  It annoys me.  I need it repaired though and the labour cost isn't too much, so I'm going ahead with it.  It's not the garages fault in this case.

I agree entirely, and aren't those anti piracy adverts crap?

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

ClapClapClap

I find the FBI warnings quite amusing "If you show this DVD to ANYONE, even accidentally, we will take your first-born child into slavery and shoot you execution style"  LOL
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

Or... why is it when I buy a DVD, do I then have to sit through adverts for other DVD's they think I may enjoy? If I want an advert for a DVD I'll rent one - if I buy one, I don't want your ing adverts for the latest complete sh*te you're releasing straight to ing DVD, just because it was so bad you couldn't get a distributor to release it in the cinema.

Work sucks! It always sucks.  The only job which wouldn't suck would be if someone would pay me to drink beer, watch tv, listen to prog and get laid.  I don't think that job exists though damnit.  Whoever invented work, should have finished the job.  Angry
