Hello friends on PA!
About two months ago I managed to put a post-rock band together and since then we've come up with about 4 original tracks that I'm really proud of. We haven't done proper recordings, but I've wanted to share my music with everyone here so I've uploaded a file of three of our rehearsal recordings (which still sound quite good IMHO ). We still may add some light vocals in a couple tracks (particularly Necessary Apparatus and Plectra), but for the most part they will sound like this. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OGNVMMK4 Recommended listening order: 1. Night of Anubis 2. Necessary Apparatus 3. Plectra We have another track called 'Stirrings Still' that is really great I think, but I don't have the recording of it yet. Anyway, please let me know what you think! Another interesting tidbit: a couple weeks ago we were talking to the lady who owns the rehearsal space we rent, and she told us that it's previous occupants included "some crazy drummer guy named Damon and his band Don-something or other". Our space was once used by the mighty Don Caballero! Enjoy! |

Well actually I haven't checked your tunes out yet...I just assume that it would taste like magic? Or maybe just aging beachwood but hey, who knows?

Nobody's listening!
Check it out or I'll cry emo tears! Sorry it's not on myspace, I'm working on putting up a site, but we kind of need a band name first. We're thinking either Pallia or Plectra. or something competely different. |
