Patrick Bourque (1977-2007) dies

   I just got this news in my inbox.......Bass player from Cannadian band Mystery (crossover prog) died last night....

It is with great sadness that we learned late last night that long time friend and Mystery bass player Patrick Bourque died suddenly the night before at his home in Canada. His body is at a hospital at this time and no official details have been made available as to the circumstances surrounding his death.

Our prayers go to his family and friends.

Patrick joined Mystery in 1995 and played on the 3 last albums. Patrick was also part of the very successful Country Rock band Emerson Drive and has been living in Nashville Tennessee until he left ED and moved back to Canada last august.

C’est avec grande tristesse que nous avons appris tard hier soir du décès de Patrick Bourque, ami de longue date et Bassiste pour Mystery, la veille dans sa demeure. A ce moment aucunes informations officielles ne sont disponibles sur les circonstances de son décès. 

Nos pensées vont à ses parents et amis.

Patrick s’est joint à Mystery en 1995 avec qui il a participé aux trois derniers albums. Patrick était aussi membre du célèbre groupe Country-Rock Emerson Drive et vivait à Nashville Tennessee jusqu’à ce qu’il quitte ED et reviennent vivre au Canada en Août dernier.
