   I always tend to go for the lesser ones. The general curve of reviews is remarkably positive, so the negative ones seem to be a good way to start. You work your way up from there.

	reasons for reading one star reviews first: Discovering whether or not someone can justify textually destroying an album may decide how fast, if at all, I check out the album. there are so many five star reviews, simply from number scares me away! Most five star reviews on this site are horrible! The idea that "This album is really good" is extremely common, which is fine. What is not fine is when people cannot explain WHY the album deserves five stars. This is all too rampant. So why read five star reviews?

	I guess it depends on the album. If I see a 5 star review in Tool´s Lateralus I´m all like "well, da´h"... but when I see a 1 star there... I start smashing my head against the monitor... I have lost many many monitors
