I saw the Genesis show last night at BMO field in Toronto and let me tell you it was well worth the price of the tickets!

I have never seen such and awe inspiring light and multi-media show! The giant led powered screen was just amazing and as clear as your computer monitor.

Genesis themselves were bang on and put on a great show!
I highly recommend it for all you doubters who thought it would be awful. They struck the perfect balance between the old and the new and nobody left disappointed. They blew the 35th Anniversary tour of Yes right out of the water(IMO). Genesis was lively, exciting and they seemed to enjoy themselves: in contrast to Yes who were uninspired, flat and looked bored. Also what the hell were they thinking with those stupid Roger Dean blow up stage balloons lol.

Genesis obviously put alot of their cash into creating something special and memorable and this they succeeded in spades!

Highlights of the show were a great In the Cage Medley(the animation has to be seen to be believed!), a riveting and crunchyly creepy version of Mama and a very large and grand Los Endos. Of course there were bad moments like Hold on My Heart, I Can't Dance and Invisible Touch(Arghh), but you can't have everyting lol.

Other Highlights were lovely versions of Ripples and Carpet Crawlers!

A HIGHLY recommended concert! Do catch them on the North American tour if you can; you won't be diasappointed!!!
A GREAT YEAR FOR PROG!!!

It was the same show and excitement yesterday at the Montreal Olympic Stadium; great show, very nice multi-medias projection, and the end was nice with Carpet Crawler.  Everybody seemed happy after this show, except maybe Vibration, but for him, everything is not good, so... he is not a reference...

So, everybody, great show of Genesis in Montreal. ( but personnaly, I prefere Roger Waters show with Dark Side of the Moon)...
C'est la vie

How charitable of them. In the UK they only charged 500 quid a ticket too. Makes you wonder how they manage to make ends meet eh?LOL

Perception is truth, ergo opinion is fact.

I liked I Can't Dance and Invisible Touch, but personally I would have had them substitute IT for Dreaming While You Sleep. The best track of "We Can't Dance" besides "Fading Lights", which I respect as a final farewell to their progressive past. (Well, not a farewell anymore) OR, even better, "Duke's Travels" or "Behind the Lines". Probably BtL.

Hold On My Heart was hideous....I can't believe they're going to play that. Confused

Then again, if it's what the die hard 80s Genesis fans want...

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the concert! I'm psyched because I'm going at the end of the month (on the 30th), and I can't wait to see them resurrect In the Cage! (Although only in the form of a medley)
