What always amazed me about Americans is this huge contradiction : they are the world's First pornography producers (and the rest of the world know this) yet they still try and maintain that puritanical attitude towards porn...

Talking about nudity and TV, the same thing we have in Ukraine: one can rarely watch anything of BASIC INSTINCT classic movie kind, but from 13.00 to 23.00 you can enjoy all sorts of violence propaganda - from C-rated cheap "action" crap to criminalistic documentary programms filled with autopsy scenes and other material intended for criminal professionals with specially trained skills to endure it all, not for me or my parents!!!

That's another part of the nonsense.  It is more easily accepted to see unspeakable violence on tv than it is to see t!ts and a$$...

..and this is what is wrong with mankind. It's not just an American affliction. Violence is completly acceptable, but sex is frowned upon. Violence is now entertainment. We can sit watching the tea time news, watching images of people shot to ribbons in war zones, dead children being loaded onto trucks in Baghdad and we think 'ooh, it's terrible isn't it' But, if we saw a pair of knockers and a ladies front garden on South Today, the BBC's switchboard would light up like a Christmas tree, and the proles would be writing to the MP's in disgust.

It's a funny old world. Perhaps if our social evolution takes us to a place where violence is actually deemed unacceptable, there would be less killing in the world. People would then have more time for sh&gging!

Well, Peter, I'm not fat, but every time I go to the USA, I feel like the thinnest woman around (and I very often am...WinkLOL). Anyway, my other half weighs less than I do.... As my hairdresser said when he met him, "how so? He's American, but he's not fat!"LOL
