Hi!

 

My name is Liam, and I've been a fan of progressive music for just over 2 years. I've had an account for quite a while, but never got around to actually posting anything or reading any topics.

 

A bit about me:

 

- I'm 17 years old and in my last year of highschool

- I play piano and keyboards, and plan have a career playing rock/metal and jazz music.

- I play keyboards, write music and occasionally sing in a band called Valhalla with several friends of mine. (I'll post some recordings once their mixed properly)

- I listen to all kinds of music, not just prog, but I always find myself being constantly drawn to prog as my favourite kind of music.

 

I don't have a favourite band, but I do have several that I never stop loving, including The Mars Volta (they, along with peter gabriel, got me into prog in the first place), King Crimson, Genesis, Opeth, Nightwish, Dream Theater, and a lot more, there's really way to many to name.

 

I'm looking forward to expressing my opinions and discussing great music.
