I just got a MIDI keyboard, and I'd like to hook it up to my computer.  However, my computer doesn't have any MIDI inputs.  What's the most affordable way for me to connect my keyboard to a USB slot?

I was hoping for something more specific than that.

If all you wish to do is connect a midi keyboard to a computer via USB all you'll need is something like this

That's what I figured, but the ones at the music center were like $200.

Mark of the Unicorn's (MOTU for short) "Fastlane" USB interface should sell for $50-$70. Its a good starter interface box. It has 2 inputs and 2 outputs and quite literally no other bells or whistles. I've been using mine for 5 years now with no down-time directly related to the interface.

That's the kind of thing I'm looking for.  Thanks!
