I remember Skip Gildersleeve always was mentioned in their albums for years and years. Haven't seen his name in ages, though.

Solo from "Kid Gloves" just finished ... and I still maintain that it's a Lifeson classic. That's what I love about Lifeson's playing is not of it's for show--it's always a statement.

I like it better than Geddy's solo release. Hmmm...looks like another thing to put on the back burner.

What about Grace Under Pressure? I remember seeing "Distant Early Warning" for the first time on MTV and really taken off guard by how different it was from anything they had done before. I bought the LP (remember those relics?), but just never embraced it fully. I went years without hearing it, but picked up the remastered about 5 years ago and now it's one of my favorites. It has a very searing coldness to it that I can appreciate now. "Between The Wheels" has always been a favorite, though. So glad they had that one in the set list.

From what I read, however, Peter Henderson was a pain in the Vick to work with, though. I guess the guy just waffled and could never make a decision himself. No wonder they never worked with him again.
