Tony, does he sing in his albums, or do they have other singers or are instrumental?

Well, does he sing A LOT? I just want to know, because if he does, I can't really be bothered with downloading the albums, much less buying them. Edited by Kotro - August 26 2007 at 09:17 |

Sad for him but good for us. |

He's brave to put the majority of his solo work up for download. |

True. But it's a brave thing to do and I'm certainly going to spread the word.

I felt wierd reading his message. This is too good to be true, but it is. It's kind of bittersweet, a mixture of delightment, disbelief and sadness and yes, it's really a brave thing to do. I can just imagine the time and the intellect he poured to make good music. So to John Wesley: I will do my part to spread the word, and make your voice and music be heard.

I must admit I find this depressing eventhough I'm not a fan of John Wesley's solo music. There must be a better way of doing this other than voluntary pay-pal donations.
Richard Barbieri's wife Suzanne has tried to sell individual tracks (http://www.arkade.com/default.aspx?a=Suzanne_Barbieri&c=ArtistMusic).
Incidentally you can buy a sampler CD of Porcupine Tree solo work from Burning Shed that is well worth the £4.00 (plus P&P) : http://www.burningshed.com/store/samplers/product/152/286/ (I bought Richard Barbieri's Things Buried on the strength of the tracks on the sampler)
