My immediate thought was "It's either a Pit or a Pendulum"...

I don't know whether such bands exist, but not in PA for sure...

Lethe, Acheron, Styx, Eridanus, Cocytus, Phlegethon - it is none of those rivers in the Greek underworld, though they would all make interesting band names, and some were even used

To the Egypt mythology now...

I don't remember exactly, but it seems that the story of Seth and Osiris has something to do with the underworld (my apologies if I'm wrong)...

(Osiris is in PA)

well, but I said "underground", not "underworld".
the story of Seth and Osiris is this: seth killed Osiris and chopped him up, throwing the pieces into the Nile. the twin sisters Isis and Nephthys collected his pieces and resurrected him; the only thing they could not find was his penis, so they replaced it with a golden one. that's why Osiris has a permanent erection.
but that's not what I am looking for; you are completely on the wrong track

Hmm. We did post at the same time.

The underground bit is puzzling me...

no. first of all: "blind" is not "myopic". and 2nd: why is a guardian part of a set, and why is he underground?
