We are sorry to announce that due to a change of record company, Hungarian band Yesterdays will no longer be able to appear at this year’s festival.  We would like to apologise to those who, like us, were looking forward to seeing them.  However, we are delighted to announce that the superb UK band Touchstone have stepped into the breach. The band have just completed their debut album “Discordant Dreams”, produced with John Mitchell (It Bites) at the helm.  The album, which features new vocalist Kim Seviour, is released on September 10th and will be on sale at the festival.

Here's a link if you want to see what Whimwise are like live. I predict that they will be included in the archives at some time in the future. They're fairly new on the scene I think, but very very prog. What do you think?

I apologise to Andrew and the Summer's End festival for non-attendance, partly 'cos I have too much on at home, but principally owing to an accute cash shortage... I have my MOT, Winter Service and Road Tax due this month, and Car Insurance and Breakdown cover due in 4 weeks time... Cry

Let's put it like this, no-one's going to marry me for my money, any time soon....Ouch

Anyway, I hope the event is going/ has gone well, and you never know...next year??Embarrassed

Just a quick note to say that we still have some Summers End 2007 Festival T-shirts left if anyone wants one.

This years shirts are superb quality, in black cotton with yellow and orange design, and we still have Large and Extra Large (plus one ladies medium if you’re quick!) available.

This years festival has yet to break even, so any help with bridging the gap would be much appreciated, and will contribute towards the viability of the festival going into 2008 and beyond. If you were there and didn’t get around to buying a T-shirt or weren’t there and would like to support the festival, then please go to:

http://www.sonicbond.com/product.asp?P_ID=903&PT_ID=

or make a Paypal payment of £15 to [email protected] and we’ll send you one by return!

Best wishes

Stephen and Huw

Don't forget, we still have some some Summers End Festival T-shirts, for those that want to support the festival, at £15 each, available from www.sonicbond.com
