Robert Moog, inventor of the Moog, was a big fan of the theremin, a device many classic rockers are familar with due to Jimmy Page's use during live performances of the song, Whole Lotta Love.

CSS, known also by Cansei de Ser Sexy, was started as mostly a way for friends to hang out together. Like Porcupine Tree, their success can be mostly attributed to the Internet.

David Gregory has made many contributions to music through other artists. Of note, he has played guitar on a few Peter Gabriel songs.
