This cracked me up!

Your CDs have been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.

A team of 50 employees inspected your CDs and polished them to make
sure they were in the best possible condition before mailing.

Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CDs into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.

We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved "Bon Voyage!" to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Sunday, June 3rd.

Spleesh, I presume you mean Chamberry and my own reviews?  It is a great album, I just hope you're not disappointed.

If you enjoy cdbaby, you might also enjoy Magnatune...I've been discovering a lot of new artists there as well. They also have a very fair policy in regards to supporting their artists, and you can listen to whole albums:

^ nice website! They seem to have a somewhat limited selection of artists, but I like the concept ... of course I can see why the music industry doesn't support it.

I've already said I like Astrid Proll a lot, but Cerebus Effect - Acts of Deception is a great album as well, good purchase!

Hahaha, you gave yourself away there, mate. Next time try to be more subtle when shamelessly promoting yourself. ;-) I also don't think you're in a neutral enough position to declare it a "travesty," which I'm pretty sure you are misusing. ;-)

Thanks. Just came in recently, along with MCM - Ritual Factory which I forgot to mention. They are somehow affiliated with the Condition Red album you mentioned, sounded interesting so I grabbed it also.

I wasn't trying to be subtle in the least. I AM Clay Withrow. And I worked my butt off on the CD and hope people will give it a listen. So check it out and let me know. Trust me, I wouldn't try to hide this fact. I'm about as proud as one could be.

I was going to recommend it myself when I saw this thread.  It really is a great album, hasn't left my regular rotation.

I'm glad CD Baby expánded, I know them from some time ago but they used to be focussed mostly in New Age, it's goo to find they are bigger and much more interesting.

I know you've mentioned you like Astrid Proll already, but are you still enjoying it?

Hybris is indeed out of stock. Firefly mentioned in the Anglagard track (correctly spelled, unlike mine here) that the band is considering releasing a reprint of the albums not to long from now. Apparently, only 5000 copies of Hybris exist worldwide....
