I really wish I could join you, seen as the venue is not that far from fair RomeUnhappy. However, I'll be back from the US on Sept 3, and I have to sit tight for a while and work as hard as I can on my dissertation. I've already had enough problems with the university not to expect a sudden, very tight deadline for handing over my work, and I don't want to be caught unawares. Hope there'll be other opportunities in Europe, though... At least before I move to the US for good!Wink

You never know, but you might still get your chance Raffaella.

@Erik: 16th between 12:00 and 17:00 sounds fine to me. I have to teach courses two days in a row (9:00-20:00) afterwards, and this schedule allows me to get to bed around 19:00 Wink

@Miguel (get a user id I can remember next time Tongue): Given that you are staying in Valkenswaard - let's decide whether we pick a train to Erik's, or my car.

@nobody specific: Will ProgChick be there the 16th, to help Antennas lessen the negative gender ratio? Wink

To me it seems that the spontaneous idea of an
After Party is moving towards solid reality, great Thumbs%20Up

For me it's the second time that a PA member is visiting my home, last year Norbert from Hungary visited my home, together we were carried away with rare footage from early Genesis, I still see Norbert his delighted face Approve ! And now we are arranging that Lelnsomaniac from Portugal is the second foreign PA member at my home, I am looking forward to it! By the way, my best friend is half Portuguese, I will try to do my welcome speech in Portuguese Wink

What I wouldn't give to be able to come, but then it's mighty hard for a college freshman to get an international flight to see a bunch of bands none of his friends have even heard of (there's a number I haven't heard of). The professors might have an issue with that. Silly professors.

Fellow Dutchmen, we should create a kind of Salvation Army beds in order to host the foreign progheads who want to come from far like 1800iareyay Wink !

I shall slip into the airport under cover of darkness. I will use the authorized personnel only entrance (because nobody ever seems to guard that door. I will then slip aboard in the bottom, displacing as many pets as I must. The owners should have used kennels anyway. I will disembark in Amsterdam, where I will suddenly become famished. After eating my fill, I will make my way, ever so slowly because the air is so...thick...man, until I reach Erik's door, which I will then try to eat LOL

As I told Angelo before BEARDFISH is very interesting for me and I couldn't spot whereelse they are giving concerts ...

I'm not quite sure yet - more than 600 km to go for both ways - but I'll do my very best ...

Clap See you in Tilburg then, Rivertree and 1800iareyay. Given the travel difficulties for you both, let's make it a race, with the rest of us as spectators LOL

And of course, besides the joking around, I hope you can make it, Uwe!
