Is there any place in America where one can find a Magma album?

I've been looking for a while, and I've just gotten really addicted today. I'm craving some and I don't want to order from the internet, though I'm sure I will have to eventually if I can't find any.

You can order M.D.K. from Borders for $46 or something like that.

Does anyone have any advice?

I'm not sure about record stores because I have never found any Magma in them.
I bought my albums from half.com and ebay. Anything from $23 to $30.

I found a single Magma CD at some CD megastore once.  It was so random, some live recording from 72 from back when they were a fusion band.

Unfortunately, the only place you'll get a reasonable Magma price is iTunes.

Seriously. But it was a live album. but still....they had MAGMA. thats pretty rare. I think your best bet is internet man. Its hard to find their stuff in mainstream buisness. Theres a place around where i live called the Mushroom that has all this rare stuff and they have Magma. Unless you have a place like that your best bet is with ze internet.

I couldn't resist jumping in on this topic, as I'm a huge Magma fan.  If you're a Rhapsody subscriber (online music service through real.com), almost all of the Magma albums (including the AKT releases) were added about two weeks ago.  And the really interesting bit is that (for some odd reason) Rhapsody treats each track (no matter the length) as a normal $.98 download-able song.  Retrospectiw I-II, for instance, cost me a whopping $1.78. Smile  They also have Patrick Gauthier's "Bebe Godzilla," as well as some of the Christian an/or Stella Vander discs.

The first song was great. The rest wasn't bad, but I prefer MDK in general. Anyway, great stuff, but I haven't heard it in a while.

I'm not a fan of 1001 or Kobaia personally.  I'd much rather listen to the Zeuhl period than the fusion period.

Haha, I just added Kobaia to the spell-check dictionary Firefox uses.
