"Sir Peter" is Sir Peter Ustinov, who played the role of Nero in "Quo Vadis". a truly unforgettable performance; sheer mad brilliance! Ustinov strongly supported UNICEF and UNESCO

Ah... I don't know Peter Ustinov's filmography too well... Embarrassed I mainly know him as Hercules Poirot (and I prefer David Suchet in this role).

Well, Mozart and Nick Mason share birthday, not only among themselves, but also with me! http://www.progarchives.com/forum/register.asp?FPN=0
Their birthday also is the day Thomas Crapper died. So it is Jan 27th. But what band is that? I have no idea.

Well, I've looked for the name days (in Orthodox tradition, however... or do the two traditions share the same name days?), and this day is the name day for many names, and Orion (I never met anyone with such a name...) is one of them, and there is also a band called Orion in PA...

Name days are typically an Eastern European tradition - we don't have them in the UK. The Catholic tradition is for Saint's Days
What?

Neither do I... (actually, this is the Peter Hammill line...)

Anyway, even if the guess is right, the credit should go for Friede. I wouldn't think about birthdays...

I get Angela, Dietrich, Dirk, Gerhard and Julian as name patrons for Jan 27th. None of them are a prog band.
